Lisa Sauer, Office Administrator
Lisa provides one of the most important services at Oak Park dental - keeping the practice running smoothly behind the scenes! Her essential business management skills are utilized daily to take care of the day to day technical issues, enabling our dentists and clinical team to concentrate on providing exceptional dental care to patients. .
Lisa enjoys the challenges of working at Oak Park Dental. “I appreciate the opportunity to work in a practice that is a leader in the dental community,” she says. “I really can’t imagine being anywhere else!
When she’s not riding herd on her various responsibilities at the office, Lisa loves sharing family activities with her husband of 31 years, her three children, and four grandchildren. She spends free time relaxing with flower gardening and boating, with occasional breaks to watch Wisconsin Badger sports!
Karri Lynch, Patient Care Coordinator
Helping Oak Park Dental patients is Karri’s specialty. She uses her multi-tasking talents to flawlessly make appointments and process claims while handling the front desk flawlessly and greeting patients with a smile.
“I enjoy working as part of a professional team providing high quality care,” says Karri. “Oak Park Dental lets me function the way I do best - at high speed, with maximum effectiveness! Its busy, but that’s what I love about the job - every minute, I’m helping people.”With five children, Karri has plenty to keep her busy outside of our dental practice. Family time is #1 on her list, preferably filled with vacations, family celebrations, and sports.

Amy Snyder, Dental Assistant
Amy has been a dental assistant since 2000, and joined Oak Park Dental in 2004. As an integral part of the OPD team, Amy assists the dentists and orders supplies for the clinical team.
"The best part of working at Oak Park Dental is the people I work with," says Amy. "They are exceptional doctors, and provide both quality care and personal attention to each patient! We work with the latest and greatest technology here, and I'm proud to be a part of the service we provide to the community."
Amy loves working with people and strives to be a caring, respectful communicator and advocate for each patient. When Amy isn't working, she spends time with her husband and their two children hanging out on their farm in Sauk City, or playing volleyball with friends.
Kaitlyn Droessler, RDH
For Kaitlyn, working at Oak Park dental is living the dream. “I always loved going to the dentist and getting my teeth cleaned as a child,” she recalls. “Everything about dentistry intrigued me, and it became my goal to make coming to the dentist a positive experience for the next generation of children. I‘ve wanted to be a dental hygienist my entire life!”
Kaitlyn has an associates degree in dental hygiene, and has been working in the industry for 2 ½ years. She says the best part about her job is definitely being part of a great team that believes in putting patients first. “Educating patients on not only oral health, but overall health is just one reason I love being a hygienist here,” she says.
When Kaitlyn isn’t pursuing her passion for dental hygiene, she is spending time with her boyfriend, her family and her dog in Madison. She also enjoys working out and reading up on health and nutrition.
Samantha Brady, Dental Assistant
A former Logan, Utah resident, Samantha has been working in the dental industry for 3 ½ years. “My dad was a dental technician, and I grew up watching him work,” she remembers. “I was always interested in dentistry, so I started a dental assisting class and loved it!”
Samantha says the best part about working at Oak Park Dental is that the quality of services is the best and the patients always come first. She loves assisting daily and creating relationships with patients. Samantha is also extremely active in OPD’s community outreach. “I’ve done two run/walks with the office,” she says. “I’m looking forward to doing more!”
When she’s not working with patients or participating in practice events, Samantha enjoys running, working out, dance and Zumba. She also spends time crafting, scrap booking, and hanging out with her husband of 2 years in their Madison home.
Mel Bowar, Dental Assistant
Mel is an integral part of the Oak Park Dental team, assisting the dentists in various dental procedures. A Cross Plains resident, she has 2 ½ years of experience in the dental industry, and keeps up with the latest developments in her field through a commitment to continuing education.
“I was originally going to go into nursing,” says Mel. “I love helping people and making them feel better. I had a friend in a dental class, and she talked about how much she liked it. I got interested and decided to apply for a dental job!” Mel says the best thing about working at Oak Park is how hardworking and helpful everyone is.
Mel helps people in the community in other ways too; she’s passionate about Relay for Life and Meals on Wheels. When she’s not working or volunteering, Mel likes spending time at a family friend’s lake house, watching sports, and going to concerts.
Denise McCarthy, Dental Assistant
Denise took Dental Assisting 101, and is now a certified Dental Assistant with 2 years of experience. She’s an asset to the Oak Park Dental staff, assisting the dentists with a variety of procedures.
“I always loved going to the dentist as I was growing up,” says Denise. “I love working at Oak Park Dental because the people are so nice and positive! It’s a good fit for me because I have a lot of positive energy and this is a very upbeat office!”
When she’s not adding her positive vibe to the office, Denise is all about spending time with family. “We unwind by going to tractor shows!” she laughs. Denise spends a lot of her at-home time baking, cooking, and canning fresh produce from the family’s big garden at their home in Lodi, WI.
Jennifer Fisher, Dental Hygienist
Jennifer has an associated degree as well as eight years of experience in the dental industry, and is a welcome addition to the staff at Oak Park Dental. She says she originally chose the dental profession because she wanted to help patients with their smiles and their health.
“What I love about working at Oak Park is everything,” says Jennifer. “The patients the doctors, the staff - it’s a terrific environment, and we are doing really great work. I love learning new things, and here I learn something every day!”
When she’s not at work, Jennifer spends time with her family, including her two children. She likes riding horses, sewing, and crafting.
Sherri Rockwell, Dental Hygienist
Sherri is relatively new to the dental profession, but has already identified her main goal: helping patients achieve and maintain a healthy smile. She has an associates in dental hygiene from Madison College, and joined Oak Park Dental last year.
“I wasn’t feeling fulfilled sitting behind a desk all day,” Sherri says of her decision to become a dental hygienist. “I wanted a job where I could interact with people and make a difference in their lives. Dental hygiene was just what I was looking for - I get to connect daily with patients here and listen to their stories. Dr. Jana holds us all to a higher standard, and I love rising to meet the challenge!”
Sherri isn’t just passionate about her patients’ health - her husband is a Special Olympics coach and the two participate regularly in special needs events run by the couple’s church. The two married in September of 2013 and are currently co-parenting a 4 year old pug.
